When thinking about how to proceed it is best to design what outcome you wish to achieve at the conclusion of the project and then use this as the framework to decide on the correct brand and type of PABX deployment that will achieve this outcome.
Every organisation and its internal interactions are unique, and therefore each organisation requires a custom PBX telephone solution. Once the solution has been built we will sit with you and customise for cost and feature purposes, adding and subtracting those features which are critical and ensuring we get the correct blend of PBX features vs cost.
Once we have a more defined picture of your desired outcome a quote is quickly put together.
There are 2 main options when looking to purchase a new or refurbished PABX/PBX phone solution from any vendor:
Outright Purchase or Monthly Rental.
As a PABX phone system is an IT based product we recommend to our clients that they rent the units. This allows for a smooth capital expenditure, and a fixed monthly operating expense ensuring your business is never without the best solution at the given time. Cash PABX purchase is welcome and you can discuss the payment terms with your account manager.
Cabling: Before installing one needs to ensure that the areas requiring phones are correctly cabled, cabling is a separate cost and needs to be quoted for on any large PBX Business system.
Location: Your location is important, certain areas in South Africa do not have access to the infrastructure required to run VOIP solutions, in these cases we look at Telkom, Neotel or GSM premicell solutions. Remember there is always a connectivity option it just needs to be customised to your location, budget and needs.
Handsets: Telephone Systems come in 3 basic types:
